Andy gets a fit of giggles

In the recording studio in July, it took about seven attempts for me to read this episode from my book, with a degree of composure. This is one of the takes in which I didn’t make it!

I’m trying here to read the passage about the great John Walters (My shared producer, with Peel) finding in the Radio 1 photocopier a letter written by a Radio 1 executive in reply to a Mr Madigan, who has written to complain that he finds the name of a feature on the Gary Davies programme (Willie On The Plonker) offensive.
